Show Notes

This month we’re keeping the recording pace hard, for the second episode of our series recorded live from the open-security-summit (open-security-summit.org).

Open Security Summit brings people to work together delivering high-level content in a broader spectre of subjects like Threat Modeling, DevOps, Secops, OWASP project SAMM.

I don’t know exactly where to start to describe these both inspirational persons.

Our guests for this sessions are Tanya Janca(@shehackspurple) and Stephanie Vanroelen (@nephastieke).

Tanya is actually working for Microsoft as Senior Cloud Advocate and Stephanie as Security Engineer for NYNOX.

Both are really engaged in our community and been incredibly stirring into bringing more woman in cybersecurity, helping kids to understand cybersecurity, organising local events both in their respective area, Belgium, Canada; and more widely.

The discussion with them with quite eye-opening in different fields and should pave the way for the listener to engage actions locally as they both did.

Stephanie is still looking for help for the event Cyberskool so feel free to contact here via Twitter: @nephastieke
